The video featured four women, including the General Manager of Hiwa Hospital, a doctor, a recovered patient, and an artist. The video was launched on October 1st and broadcasted on social media and satellite channels throughout the month.
The second activity involved spreading a brochure that provided information about breast cancer, the importance of regular checkups, and information about free governmental clinics available to women. The brochures were distributed by a group of volunteers, which included specialists, to females in Sulaimaniyah.
The third activity of the campaign was the production of a documentary video on Ms. Hevy, a recovered cancer patient, who shared her story of overcoming the disease and the societal stigma surrounding it. The documentary aimed to provide a message of hope to cancer patients in general and females in particular.
Finally, the campaign concluded with the opening of a gallery featuring Ms. Hevy's artwork in Hiwa Hospital on October 19th.
